Anthony Ausgang is a Houston-raised / Los Angeles-based lowbrow artist, writer and musician born in Trinidad and Tobago. Fascinated from a young age by the surf and hot rod mythology of California, Ausgang left Texas for the Left Coast where he attended Otis Art Institute and began exhibiting at galleries including Zero One Gallery. 
Ausgang has since shown work across the globe and produced for clients including MGMT, Green Day, The Boredoms and Perry Farrell, among many others. Ausgang's practice extends to car customization, commercial illustration, video game character and apparel design.
